Equipping educators, kids, families, and communities with knowledge and skills to recognize potential dangers, make informed decisions, and responded more effectively when emergencies occur.
OUR MISSION
Preparedness begins with education. When educators, children, families, and communities have practical knowledge and understand their options, they are better positioned to recognize risks and respond to challenging situations.
School of Preparedness is committed to making practical safety education accessible to the people who need it.
Prepared Communities Are Stronger Communities
Build Awareness. Strengthen Readiness.
Protect What Matters.
TRAINING AND RESOURCES FOR SCHOOLS AND FAMILIES
The School of Preparedness offers two core programs designed to make practical safety training and preparedness resources accessible to the people who need them.
School Preparedness Network (SPN) is designed for educators, school staff, and educational organizations.
Schools receive access to TEACHERS FIRST, our active-threat preparedness training for educators, along with refresher training options, practical resources for administrators, and a community focused on improving school safety and preparedness.
Our goal is to make practical school safety training accessible and affordable for schools of all sizes and budgets. One membership covers your entire school staff, for just $35 per month or $299 per year, with a free trial available.
Family Preparedness Network (FPN) is designed for individuals and families who want to build practical safety skills and become better prepared for everyday challenges.
Members receive access to KIDS FIRST, The Base HTS, and The Prepared Citizen, along with new content, practical resources, and a supportive community focused on family safety and preparedness.
One affordable membership provides access to all three training programs for just $9 per month or $85 per year, with a free trial available.
